Stonemark Wind, an Invenergy project, is powered by the belief that community is at the heart of our mission, inspiring us to create impactful opportunities that ensure vibrant and resilient communities for generations to come.
We support the initiatives of eligible 501(c)(3)/nonprofit, tax exempt organizations in their service to the Stonemark Wind communities including the towns of Johnson, Rietbrock and Wien in Marathon County, WI.
Stonemark Wind accepts charitable requests year-round.
Eligible organizations, programs and projects include: Registered 501(c)(3)/nonprofit, tax exempt organizations whose positive impact includes the Stonemark Wind Communities.
Our funding areas:
Community
- Community building projects and programs that enrich the quality of life, particularly in rural communities. This includes the arts, recreation, economic development and other initiatives that foster a sense of connection and well-being for residents.
Education
- Agriculture, renewable energy or STEM related programs that support K-12, higher educational institutions and lifelong learning. This includes development of curriculum and initiatives that help students in rural communities. Vocational training institutions and initiatives that will help build a skilled workforce to support our community. Continued education opportunities that advance the development and acceptance of renewable energy, agriculture and STEM topics.
Environment
- Credible programs with proven success that possess a strong link to environmental learning, empower stewardship and encourage partnership to address environmental concerns.
Health and Emergency Response
- Causes that support physical or mental well-being, fight hunger, promote healthy lifestyles or support public safety.
Veteran’s
- Initiatives that provide essential services, resources or advocacy for military veterans.
Ineligible requests:
- Individual fundraising campaigns
- Donations to any individuals
- General operating expenses, travel, accommodations
- Political candidates, parties or activities
- Endowment funds
- Multi-year commitments
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, sexual orientation, creed, age or national origin
- Organizations that demonstrate opposition to renewable energy or to companies who own, develop, construct or operate such facilities
While we appreciate public acknowledgement of our collaboration with you, it is not a requirement to receive the funding.
